Builders in Cebu and Davao stepped onto the stage to pitch their ideas to one of Web3’s most builder-focused ecosystems.
Lisk Pitching Day created a platform for developers and founders in the Philippines to present their ideas and receive feedback from experienced ecosystem leaders. Organized by Ethereum Philippines in collaboration with Lisk, the event brought together aspiring builders who wanted to explore how their projects could grow within the broader Web3 ecosystem. The sessions also created an opportunity for participants to engage directly with global protocol leaders visiting the Philippines.

Builders Pitching Ideas
The pitching sessions were held in both Cebu and Davao, allowing builders from different regions to present their projects and connect with mentors. Participants shared early-stage ideas ranging from decentralized applications to infrastructure concepts that could serve local and global users.
The format encouraged open discussion and constructive feedback. By presenting their ideas in front of fellow developers and ecosystem leaders, participants were able to refine their thinking, explore technical challenges, and receive insights about how their projects might evolve within the Web3 landscape.
A Visit from Lisk Leadership
The event was particularly notable for the presence of Dominic Schwenter, COO of Lisk, who joined the sessions and engaged directly with builders. His visit highlighted Lisk’s commitment to supporting developer communities around the world and strengthening connections with emerging ecosystems such as the Philippines.
Through discussions and feedback during the event, participants were able to learn more about Lisk’s vision for developer tooling and ecosystem support. The presence of senior leadership also signaled that local builders are increasingly part of global conversations about blockchain innovation.
By hosting pitching sessions in multiple cities, Ethereum Philippines continues to expand opportunities for builders across the country—connecting grassroots developer communities with global protocols that are eager to support new ideas.
Great ecosystems grow when builders are given the chance to share their ideas.
